Tram Maintainer, Fleet Presentation

Role Purpose

 

Perform Fleet Presentation Maintenance tasks that fall within the skills of a trades person and provide administrative support to the Co-Ordinator, Fleet Presentation & Supervisors, Fleet Presentation, to maintain the Franchise Requirements in relation to Passenger Experience Regime.

 

Responsibilities

 

•    Perform Fleet Presentation maintenance tasks of a reactive and preventative nature (graffiti removal, window polishing, film replacement seat exchange and decal replacement). 
•    Document and sign off all tasks performed in accordance with the processes described in the Management system.
•    Provide advice on trade related issues as required.
Inspection activities across all Trams in Depots in relation to Fleet Presentation. 
•    Assist the Fleet Presentation Team with effective completion of Tasks in relation to Fleet Presentation
•    Assist with the preparation of completing of documentation and reports as required by Team Manager and Team Supervisor, including but not limited to Shift Hand Over Report, Incident Investigation Report, Risk Assessments, SMWS/JSEA, Tool Box Talks, Work Instructions, Quote Requests, Stock Take and Maximo Work Order processing.
•    Report to the accountable Manager and Supervisor on matters and issues that arise relating to staff OH&S and environmental that occurs in any YT maintenance site.

 

Qualifications & Licences


•    Successfully completed an apprenticeship in an appropriate trade
•    Victorian Driver’s Licence (mandatory).
•    Ability to obtain/hold Rail Safety Worker accreditation.
    

Skills & Experience

•    Successfully completed an apprenticeship in an appropriate trade
•    Possess the understanding of quality procedures, work and operating instructions and documentation defining Fleet Presentation maintenance of Trams 
•    Possess sound communication skills to deal effectively across all work groups.
•    An understanding and awareness of Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental issues in the workplace.
•    Worked within an operational environment with deadlines.
