About this opportunity
Yarra Trams requires an Officer, Frontline Improvements and Rostering to assist with rostering and workforce coordination and other frontline improvement initiatives across our Authorised Officer and Customer Service units. Reporting to the Frontline Improvement Manager this role will be:
- Complete end-to-end rostering and workforce coordination of Customer Service frontline teams, ensuring optimal resource allocation across normal operations, special events and disruptions
- Supporting the delivery of frontline improvement initiatives across Authorised Officers (AOs) and Customer Support Employees (CSEs)
- Assisting in the uplift of training, processes and operational administration
- Supports administrative processes and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, compliance and customer outcomes
- Translating operational requirements, customer data and frontline feedback into practical and sustainable improvements
- Embedding consistent ways of working that improve customer experience, safety, fare compliance and operational efficiency
About you
Ideally you will bring to this role:
- Relevant qualification in Business, Administration or Operations (desirable), or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in MS office suite, advanced in Excel
- Experience in a customer service, operational or administrative environment
- Understanding of rostering, workforce coordination or scheduling principles
- Familiarity with compliance, safety and operational procedures
- Awareness of continuous improvement principles and practices
- Strong organisational and administrative capability
- Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
