Head of RS Delivery Management & Reporting

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Rolling Stock Reporting Lead to manage contractual reporting and performance insights for our Rolling Stock program. This role is key to ensuring our commitments to the Department of Transport & Planning are met with precision and professionalism.



Your new role


As Rolling Stock Reporting Lead, you will:

  • Lead the preparation and submission of all Rolling Stock reports, including Monthly Reports, ARSWP, FRSMP, and Condition Works Plans
  • Coordinate inputs and briefings for Rolling Stock Working and Review Groups
  • Manage responses to DTP feedback across key areas including RSO, RTS Plans, and Collision Plans
  • Provide weekly executive reporting and performance updates
  • Support delivery of strategic action items with the Director, RS Strategic Delivery
  • Act as the principal liaison with the DTP Rolling Stock Team

 

What you’ll bring


You’re a confident communicator with strong analytical skills and a passion for continuous improvement. You’ll also have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, Commerce or equivalent experience
  • Project Management certification (Prince2 / PMP)
  • Proficiency in Maximo and project tools like MS Project or Primavera
  • Experience in contract and risk management
  • Proven ability to prepare high-quality reports and briefings for executives and government stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to influence outcomes and build trusted relationships across teams
