Domain Architect, Compute and Network

About this opportunity

Yarra Trams requires a Domain Architect (Compute and Network) to help migrate YT’s compute, database and network landscape to a modern, secure and efficient hybrid model. Reporting to the Manager Strategy and Relationships this role will:

Apply technical knowledge and operational insights to create a modernisation roadmap covering networks, compute and security
Collaborate with other architects and technical stakeholders in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions leveraging the compute and network platforms
Understand overall applications portfolio, IT and business priorities to design and guide integration solutions (Microsoft and 3rd party solutions) that will support efficient and effective data capture and workloads
Support the development of business cases to drive positive change with regards to the above.
Provide assurance reviews to ensure that all solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment according to YT’s Engineering and Asset Management Systems.
Provide solution architecture advisory services on various tactical works as part of YT’s program of work using YT’s management of change governance, policies, principles and guidance including information security.
Assess the IT and architecture teams’ knowledge of Azure platform and overall cloud readiness to support team members through a structured learning plan and ensure its delivery through SMEs and partners

About you

Ideally you will have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineer or related field
Microsoft Certified Azure Solution Architect Expert or Associate
TOGAF accredited (preferred)
Know how to use Orbus Infinity (iServer)
