This is your opportunity to shape the future of safety across our network. You’ll own the development and delivery of our Safety Management System (SMS), champion a proactive safety culture, and ensure we exceed every standard, every time.

 

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Champion and drive the vision for safety and embed it across the organisation.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a world-class SMS.
  • Drive compliance with Rail Safety National Law and industry best practice.
  • Build strong partnerships with regulators, industry bodies, and internal teams.
  • Champion Just Culture investigations and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver safety training that empowers every employee and contractor.
  • Analyse safety data and trends to inform strategy and innovation.
  • Represent Yarra Trams at safety forums and industry events.

  • Expertise in OHS, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
