What the role entails:
This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR Professional to join the team as the ‘Manager, HR Business Partnering’. The successful candidate could be a senior HR Business Partner looking to take their next step or a current manager looking for an excellent opportunity within a progressive organisation.

Day to day responsibilities will include:
•    Acted as a sounding board for your team as they navigate performance, absenteeism and disciplinary matters 
•    Run the fortnightly case management meeting with your team where you worked with your team to ensure consistency in approach across the business
•    Pulled on your high vis and visited various tram depots across Melbourne to coach and support our team managers in a range of people matters
•    Led the execution of the bi-annual talent identification and succession planning process for your client groups
•    Worked with your team to proactively recommending solutions to improve culture, engagement, performance, retention, & employee experience.
•    Conducted workplace investigations including conducting interviews, writing reports, and implementing recommended outcomes

What you bring to this role:
You will be passionate about building strong professional relationships, coaching and developing others and will have mastered the art of influencing others. You will be able to demonstrate where you have built leadership capability and contributed to improving culture and positive employee engagement. You’re a team player who is comfortable taking the lead but happy to get your hands dirty.  You will enjoy operating in an ambiguous, fast paced environment and have demonstrated the  ability to navigate complex people matters and exercise good judgement.  You will also have a tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Psychology or related discipline!
