As the operator of Yarra Trams, we bring our international expertise to Melbourne to ensure we deliver safer, more reliable passenger services and performance, while increasing the value of the tram network for Melburnians and the thousands of visitors to our city every day.
To deliver on these exciting new challenges, Yarra Trams requires the services of an experienced Data Administrator to provide an essential quality assurance function for four tram depots, ensuring tram asset data is of the highest possible standard.

What the role entails
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Data Administrator to contribute to improved management of our assets, ultimately improving tram availability and reliability.
Reporting to the Manager, Depot Operations, the role involves:

  • Providing advice and assistance to depots and other parts of Rolling Stock in the use of Maximo;
  • Quality review of work order information from depots prior to entry into Maximo;
  • Data entry and assurance of accurate Rolling Stock work order data into Maximo;
  • Reviewing and cleansing of existing and historical Maximo work orders (as required); 
  • Reviewing Maximo job plans for missing information (time on task, materials etc.);
  • Other administrative tasks in support of effective depot operations as required.


\What you will need for this role
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Qualification in analytical/planning field advantageous, but not mandatory;
  • Previous experience with Maximo is mandatory, ideally in a workshop environment;
  • Knowledge of rail vehicle assets and maintenance practices would be advantageous; 
  • Demonstrable experience in carrying out quality reviews of completed work information, ideally on maintenance work on physical assets;
  • Demonstrable experience carrying out data entry to a high standard of quality;
  • Experience carrying out quality assurance of Maximo entries, including cleansing data; 
  • Experience providing guidance/informal training in Maximo.
