To deliver on their vision, Keolis Downer requires the services of an experienced Network Design and Customer Experience Analyst to support the delivery of Keolis Downer (KD) bids in Australia and New Zealand.

What the role entails
This role is primarily focused on supporting all the projects aimed at redesigning public transport networks, by undertaking data analytics and providing strategic insights. 
Reporting to the Head of Customer Experience & Network Design, the role involves:

  • Undertaking research, analysing information and proposing solutions to mobility issues and challenges;
  • Building thorough analyses and diagnoses and bringing a more analytical approach to the network (re)design initiatives using Keolis tools (POCA, IQUAD, etc.);
  • Providing analytical and financial assessment of the different network design proposals (On Demand vs fixed route, etc.);
  • Building ridership and revenue forecasts;
  • Forecasting service delivery effectiveness against client KPIs and carrying out performance analyses to help identify efficiencies and savings.

What you will need for this role
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in data analysis, geography, urban planning, transport or engineering;
  • An appetite for public transport and city shaping work;
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills; 
  • Proven ability to engage and communicate with staff at all levels and build strong working relationships;
  • Competence in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and BI tools;
  • Competence in GIS software.
