About this opportunity
We are looking for an inspiring leader who is passionate about Customer to lead the Passenger Experience for Special Events and Occupations.


Reporting to the Manager Passenger Experience Delivery, you would be responsible for:

  • Build and lead an effective team to deliver the department’s business objectives;
  • Lead the delivery of passenger experience plans, including passenger impact assessments, passenger information and schedules that are tailored to different customer segments;
  • Represent and advocate for better passenger outcomes in the planning of service changes;
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to help in the delivery of passenger information;
  • Time on network is essential to review passenger experience executions and to drive continuous improvement.


Ideally you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a Communications, Marketing or Customer Experience related field; 
  • A passion for customer experience and an understanding of customer experience frameworks;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; 
  • Demonstrable experience managing, supervising or coordinating teams, including coaching and mentoring;
  • Proven experience in Stakeholder communications within a Customer Service environment; 
  • Ability to advocate for passenger experience driven outcomes in an operational environment
  • Ability to coordinate external contractors to aid in the delivery and implementation of customer information projects;
  • A strong geographical knowledge of Melbourne, including tram and other public transport networks.
